ABOUT
Born in Porto, Portugal, João Pedro Ferreira is currently based in Osaka, Japan.
After finishing his masters degree in Architecture at Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto, in 2013, he went on to intern and collaborate with very important architecture offices, such as Shigeru Ban Architects, Paula Santos, OODA and Adalberto Dias.
In the meanwhile, João Pedro Ferreira kept developing various skills in different fields such as 3D modeling and rendering, graphic design, music production and performance and event promotion, working with the local Porto collectives Favela Discos, Ácida, Ócio, among others.
In 2018 he headed IRL, a small company working with artistic creation and performance, mainly focused on recycled electronics, having established a partnership with Lipor – one of the biggest recycling public companies in Portugal.
In 2020 he founded Flagelante with Gustavo Lima (A Thousand Details) and Pedro Castanheira (Teragon), a record label focused on Techno, EBM and experimental electronics
